Among Trump's most serious problems: Inability to think comprehensively. Opposing vaccines is a terrible. Choosing people to serve because they have made antivaccine statements is reckless. There are major policy areas in addition to vaccines. What is Weldon's capacity to serve effectively?

Yuck. This will not pass in 2024. Some of it codifies an Executive Order Trump issued in 2020 (no DEI/CRT in federal agencies). This goes extremely far--even preventing offices within agencies that deal with race, gender, SO matters.

If people make nuanced and fact-based arguments, this shouldn't be a problem. The greatest stumbling block in today's political discourse isn't ideological bubbles or hateful people. It's data-free analysis. And we can "both sides" this one--but more so on the GOP side.

Republicans warn Dems not hold up Trump's nominees. Some of us are old enough to remember Bill Clinton and Obama struggling. Some of them are old enough to have been among the obstructors. Will journalists remember? Trump looks to bypass Senate for polarizing Cabinet picks

Watching Trump's Cabinet rollout is like viewing the autopsy of a close friend. The selection for Defense Secretary is completely nuts. His resume is perfect for Trump. He's a tv personality, liar, bigot, etc. And like Trump, he is terrible for the country.
