More than 4 million kids ages 7 through 17 live with the SNAP participants House Republicans are calling "able-bodied adults without dependents." Without dependents?! When those adults get cut off SNAP, food benefits for the entire family get reduced. That hurts kids. Period.

The upside-down & costly federal tax bill is currently being marked up in the House Ways & Means cmte. According to the Joint Cmte on Taxation, more than 40% of benefits would go to top 5%, and the top 1% alone would get 1/5 of all benefits.
