Great letter by the editorial board! I would love to hear the pitch by Wiley of why they should take over management of the journal. I would also love to see societies engagement with different publishing models & leverage open source infrastructure. It would help so much.

COMPLETE CRAP - publishers have long argued they need authors to sign over copyright "so they can protect authors' rights". But *when* do they do that? Publishers are not enforcing attribution rights (under CC BY) for the papers they have sold to LLMs at huge profit. Maybe they should start there?
