He knows it. They know it. They've always known it. Amongst themselves, they joke about it. They tell stories about it. They swap advice on how to deal with it. But most importantly, to everyone else, they lie about it.

They pretend not to see it. They change the subject when they are confronted with it. And that's why they are responsible for the fact that we have a deeply mentally ill president, surrounded by other deeply unwell people.
