The gas price hike from the war isn’t effecting me much. Back in 2018 I bought a used Chevy Volt because I saw they were selling for a lot less than 3yo sedans go for. It only gets 35mi a charge before switching to gas, people tell me that’s useless, but that’s the same as a gallon of gas for 25¢.

This morning, deep in condoburbia, I startled some new neighbors. Last week a storm blew the top of my lamp down, I’ve been depressed so I just left it off. Then in a couple of days a pair of robins filled it with mud and twigs as a platform to build one of their neat little nests on.
