Oof, the drivers I encountered today a one intersection have no right holding a license. A driver indicating to take a right turn is yielding to an on coming driver signaling to take a left. That oncoming driver is rolling into my lane as I move forward waving to another driver.

Please do tell me that bicycles are the real problem here.

I love when the "mind your own business" folks come out from the side streets to yell in favor of someone parked in a bike lane that is being called out for their bad behavior. It straight up not logical

It's warm today... And apparently that means people forget how to drive. Just add that to the pile of things that lead to poor driving choices, like phone use.

Mid-level road bikes are as much as a decent used car. That's if you are looking to ride nicer gear as a hobby. Utilitarian bikes are of course dirt cheap in comparison. If you want special features like large cargo or electric power, it's totally going to add to the price point.

Ugh, the bike lane has been turned into a parking lane along a major corridor on Belmont Street in Watertown due to snow buildup and inaction on the enforcement of illegal parking.

If you can ticket an illegally parked car, you can ticket an uncleared sidewalk.

I'm in Portland main for the weekend. I kinda wish the snow and parking didn't eat the bike lanes. (Experienced before the Sunday snow day). I would have biked to my sat night destination if I felt like I could trust the infrastructure wouldn't try to kill me with an unfamiliar driving populace.

For reference Ben, I went on a ten minute walk to Highland and back and saw flagrant red light runners each time I crossed Medford St. I decided to record on my way back because it happens to often. It’s not the cyclists that need education about red lights.

It snowed 5 days ago, you can't use it as an excuse to drive up onto the curb and into the bike lane and say you didn't know. 4 asshole drivers today did that. An unrelated one cut me off from a side street as I was traveling 20mph+ down a hill.

PSA: bicyclists bike all year round. The crappier the weather, the more dangerous it is for them to go around you when you illegally block the bike lane.

Somerville could use a week's long aggressive enforcement push at the two 'no right turn' signs at powderhouse circle.

Tip: if you almost hit me, my family or anyone with your car, do not give a cute little wave. This is violent behaviour that continually gets treated as a little “whoopsie” Pull over, stop your car and take some time to think about how you almost killed someone and their family.

I was witness to Somerville's "sharp curbs" last night. A driver on collage ave heading towards Davis somehow hit the curb for the floating bus stop for the opposite direction. They killed their tire, didn't noticed/care, backed up and continued on their way towards Davis.

Open letter to that person yelled at me to 'slow down' today: - sorry I startled you, but please take your eyes off the phone before you step off the curb and into the street (bike lane) mid block. Thankfully I was paying attention so there was no harm to your foul.

Mass DCR really needs to use more appropriately sized vehicles when servicing paths and areas accessed by them

Instead of using the readily available and free side street parking this delivery driver uses the entire sidewalk and half the bike lane. They still walked more than 100ft to make the single delivery.

Lots of glaringly terrible drivers today. - blocking entrances and exits to separated bike lanes - being seen but still invisible enough to be pulled out in front of - forgetting how all way stops work - unable to drive with in their designated lanes.

Looks like some drivers have failed up walnut street in Somerville.

It's slippery out there and I'm happy to report the few miles that I just experienced with drivers were a positive one. People seem to actually be taking care while driving right now. I hope that continues into the night as the snow continues.
