Just used trigonometry for lab work (solving the length of a hypotenuse), and I want you all to know! I think this is the second time I've ever actually needed trig for science. We should really teach statistics before trig, IMHO.

I find attending conferences more inspiring than reading papers, and I think the big difference for me is the people! Do other people feel the same? Do introverts prefer reading papers?!
