I’m told burnout comes less from having too much to do but rather feeling like what you have to do is out of your control (and/or unpleasant work). So, working out substantial changes in what you’re obligated to be doing is the best way out. Thus making space for something new/interesting!

We updated our BindCraft preprint with lots of new exciting results! We release all our binder sequences and models, include more in silico analysis, novel design targets, and present AAV retargeting to specific cell types using de novo binders!

Last 🐥 post and first 🦋 one: After spending a year helping these two 💕 humans grow while myself learning to become a mother, I am back at work! Excited to see what new we can discover about molecular excitability! Also blessed that I can now do this as full prof 🥳
