And so to the final A-Comic-A-Day and one of my favourites. I said in an earlier thread that Watchmen wasn’t my favourite Alan Moore comic story, but V For Vendetta probably is, although Promethea gives it a run for its money.

The cause of the problem is obvious. The solution is too.

The penultimate A-Comic-A-Day visits Astro City and who knows what will happen? Astro City is a superhero comic from a different perspective. We see their world from the points of view of all sorts of other people, such as ordinary citizens…

Way back in one of January’s A-Comic-A-Day posts, I said that Echolands would feature in the future. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think it would be this far in the future. But as J.H. There are some A-Comic-A-Day titles that I was probably always going to enjoy, such as Captain Britain and MI13. It features Captain Britain, as well as others from Excalibur, it’s set in Britain, and it’s written by Paul Cornell @paulcornell.bsky.social so liking it was easy.

A-Comic-A-Day reaches back to X-Men days of past past and The Dark Phoenix Saga, from The Uncanny X-Men issues 129 to 137. Some well-known and well-loved comic stories are overrated, in my opinion. This isn’t one of them. I’d still put this up there with the best.

I haven’t thought about the Spider-Man and Zoids comic for a long time and here it is now showing up on A-Comic-A-Day! The Spider-Man reprints were always welcome, but mostly I read the for the Zoids stories.
