Goodbye 2025. It was a pretty big year. Went on some nice walks. Fled a dystopian blackhole that threatens to consume the world. Read some pretty great books.

Thought my tire needed some air today. Turns out It did because it had a dirty great nail sticking in it. It took a few hours because they were busy today. When it was done, the owner said it was free if I left a nice review on google. That caused my brain to hang. No script [ @tkingfisher.com ]

Went for walk through the Waitahinga trails yesterday. Was a fun walk, but I didn't get many decent photos. Lots of moss and general green.

Drove along the South Taranaki Bight today and stopped for lunch at Ōpunake beach while kids were learning about surf life saving.

Had a walk up Pukeiti summit yesterday. It was a mixed bag of trails. Some well maintained, other beautifully wild.

Went on the Veronica Loop (Mt Taranaki) for a walk today.

Took advantage of the beautiful weather to walk around Lake Mangamahoe this morning.

Spending the week in Korito, Taranaki. When I step away from the cabin I enter a primeval forest. Who knows what elder things walk these paths.

Don't you hate it, in the morning, when you've just finished your coffee and the shower is calling, but the neighbours are screaming at each other and you have to wait by the phone because you're not sure if it's going to escalate into domestic abuse.

I love the cosy feeling of sitting in a kitchen, with a fresh mug of coffee, as the rain beats down in the morning. 😄☕

The problem I have with cookies on the internet is that you have to decide whether to accept them or not before you have any idea what the site you're on is like. Don't take cookies from strangers. Prove to me that you're a good netizen and I will take happy take your cookies, but not before.
