This year I learned how to use the Tone Curve (is a tool in digital drawing that allows you to tweak both values and color and how much of each color (green, blue or red) you want in said values) and is such a massive game changer

Working on the WIP of a massive commission for a cool client to display in my portfolio... and honestly? I feel like I leveled up in volume, color and lights massively with just this finger or this little guy xD

Despite everything, I think it's cool that strangers who don't share identities outside of "human" will pop on the internet and wish each other well and relate to each other's struggles. We WANT to know what we share in common. It's a sincere desire which makes people cool and worth respect.

I understand the urge of reminding everyone to not buy HP products, but here in Bsky specially: where the majority agrees on this sentiment, I can't stop seeing about it on the TL today because (I know in an ironic twist im contributing) people keep talking about it. You're accidentally advertising.

The amount of 'realism' I want in a game is exactly as much as the art team behind that game intended. The lighting I want is the lighting the art team behind that game intended. The character appearance I want the way the art team intended. That's it. Stop touching it.

Getting extremely motivated today after a nice meeting, seeing many cool artists illustrations and indie games that blow my mind, if you ever get tired seeing samey projects or game industry bad news my lord some indies give you back your faith in art by a tenfold, it's magical.

It's always said that to make anime or cartoon styles you should learn anatomy and realism first, that's very true, but it's often not heard, and this is also very true... that to make good charming realism or semi-realism you need to learn to draw cartoony, anime or heavy stylized stuff as well :)

If you come to Spain please take account a couple of things: we are undergoing (specially at places like the islands and Málaga) a similar problem places like hawaii face, we are impoverished and being displaced by tourism, we are facing a massive housing crisis due to Airbnb and similar companies
