Realized I hit GM burnout after back-to-back campaigns. Let myself breathe. Then I stumbled onto Twilight Sword—and I was reinvigorated. New systems can be magical. Sometimes you just need something that reminds you why you loved TTRPGs in the first place.

Being a sysadmin with no tickets is cruel when my new PC case is waiting at home on a Friday. Nothing broken, just me staring at the clock. Let me go rebuild!

Closed the books on a three-year TTRPG campaign. Bittersweet, but necessary—the group played more for social fun than long-form arcs. The tower is quiet, but the dice still roll weekly with another group of adventurers.

I started organizing my old games and it hit me. I miss LAN parties. Dragging a heavy PC to a friend’s house, cables everywhere. No servers. No data centers. Bring back thick game manuals, offline multiplayer, and games hard enough that you actually had to figure things out.

Binge watched a bunch of anime, just ate some pizza I have ascended.

Just caught up on Tower Dungeon and wow this manga absolutely slaps. It feels like a PSX-era dark fantasy game in manga form—grim atmosphere, weird monsters, heavy dungeon vibes. If you like old school dark fantasy aesthetics you should really check it out.
