Just received this latest book by Greg Boyd (and Scott Boren) and it's good. Real good. "God Looks like Jesus" is short and concise that argues that God looks... like... Jesus. Entirely. Completely. If you're all, "Yah but whutbout...?" then read this and you'll see.

Jesus did not die instead of his followers. Jesus died ahead of his followers. The word was not “take your cross and give it to me.” The word was “deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me.” Those who follow that word will, like Jesus, be counted among the rebels.
