it's crazy to use AI in CONCEPT ART bcuz it will never be able to CREATE its own CONCEPTS. so not only are you saying you're too lazy to pay someone or to do the work yourself, you're also saying your okay with building all of your shit on unoriginal ideas and almagamation of existing work.

I have ideas like…every thirty seconds. Most of them suck. But many of them have been scaffolding for ideas I am actively trying to come up with, and a computer cannot give you that, no matter how much of other artists’ blood sweat and tears you feed it. Never. There is no good use for genAI.

I just saw someone yell “they’re just using it to generate ideas!” And I hate to say it But if you work in the ART DEPARTMENT and you need a death machine stuffed with your colleagues’ work to give you ideas Quit.

AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone - tech is now more expensive - you cannot trust most media of reality anymore - programs barely function - energy prices - literal psychosis - your voice can be literally stolen for evil - more spyware but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

I don't know who needs to hear this but sometimes a sketch is just meant to be a sketch and not a finished piece. Not everything has to be a "finished" thing. Maybe the sketch IS the finished version of that thing. If you learned from it, took what you needed, it had its purpose fulfilled.
