She is home and bathed and eager for snacks! While the cause is still a mystery, her symptoms were basically anaphylaxis and she improved when they got her on the right treatment plan for that. It’s honestly an astounding recovery given how sick she was. Thank you all for the well wishes!

We still don’t have firm answers (they’re suspecting toxic mushroom ingestion), but she’s perked up a lot after a night of supportive care. The vet should be updating me about her most recent test results soon. Please keep sending those positive wishes ❤️

Dawn breaks on Day 5 of Big’s Backyard Ultra and 9 runners remain. Overnight, Megan Eckert and Sarah Penny smashed the previous women’s record of 87 yards and a new one was set by Sarah (95 yards). Both are out of the race now. We’re 400 miles in now. It’ll be an exciting finish!
