The re-release of #StarWars next year means I have seen each movie in theatres at least 4 times. So that’s my benchmark now 1st time - completely overwhelmed, absorb nothing. 2nd time - actually comprehend the story. 3rd time - assess and enjoy it as a movie. 4th time - geek out to it all.

Just watched this last night. It’s incredible watching these fragile terrified 12 year olds strut around pretending to be gorillas in suits.

The worst example of this was Roz Weston’s complete backflip on #TheLastJedi within hours. The morning after TLJ was released he gave a quick but glowing recap. By that afternoon though, he’d seen the division online and did a complete 180, parroting the hate coming from the online space.
