Oh no. I just rewatched this movie and realised how thin the plot was. I mean there was barely any character growth, he has no impact on the story, the villains were not at all compelling, and it just felt like 4 eps stitched up into a “fun” adventure. Yep, Raiders of the Lost Ark is bad now.

In the last 3 years we have had The Acolyte, Skeleton Crew, Andor, and Maul. 3 of them are critically acclaimed with Skeleton Crew and Andor winning major awards. Meanwhile, The Acolyte took Star Wars in new directions with interesting concepts. But please, tell me how the franchise is dead.

I loved the way Andor was released. It was like a series of movies released over a month. A new and complete story each week that builds on the movie before. It’s the way the saga movies worked too. Loved it. Be happy to see future shows released like this too.
