A journey inward is the future of the Jedi under Rey Skywalker. Minimal dogma, no hierarchical structure & no assumption of superiority over other "Force" centred belief system. I'm moving from the end of The Last Jedi immediately into The Rise Of Skywalker. I could watch this entire trilogy every day. So visually wonderful, the characters so woven, so deep, so connected. Grogu rejecting the lightsabre that belonged to Yoda and choosing the attachment of the positive Father in Mando is a vital component in the future of the Jedi Order under Rey Skywalker. As horrific as Episode is it still exists as a fantasy / fairy tale cautionary tale for twelve year olds. So it is forced to walk a delicate line - whilst wanting to warn the young audience of the danger of deception, fascism and fear yet still to remind them it's all entertainment and allegory.

I absolutely love the consistency of going from the final scene of Episode III immediately into Obi-Wan Kenobi. It completes the character arc of Obi really. We didn't see him live with & deal with his failure. That was missing & crucial. Reva being the catalyst is poetic. What a gift it is.

I ❤️ all of the Mission Impossible films, though Ghost Protocol (the Dubai building one) has problems in the final act. It drags. The 2 Reckonings as a 5 hour double bill is quite a trip but 93% of the dialogue in both is laughable. I hate that. What if the entity this, that or the other (repeat). 🤷

The Force Awakens was shot at Pinewood in the UK. Ten years ago. My absolute favourite Star Wars trilogy began. I'm currently rewatching again. I'm about half way through Revenge. The Acolyte, I, II, III, Obi Wan, Solo, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX is my preferred live action Skywalker Saga rewatch. 🍭

Nobody is a villain. Qimir goes full throttle when needing to defend himself in Night but everyone's points of view are valid. Not one character in the show (Vernestra aside) says anything not true from their point of view. Also excluding Qimir's identity lie. It's a masterpiece The Acolyte is.

After recently upgrading my TV to a 65" small cinema screen I have to rewatch everything important to me. Star Wars ALWAYS starts with The Acolyte. If you understand the "from a certain point of view" element it enhances everything that follows in a magnificent way. A true gift it is.

Truth about Religion & failure. The Last Jedi goes further than anything else in the galaxy far, far away! Thanks Rian. The GOAT!
