It’s been fucking aggravating for both Star Wars & real world shit, so I’m just gonna end the night with a platitude. Mando is STILL great. Din and Grogu are still a great team, ever since S1. AND the sequel trilogy is still great. Don’t come here to be an ass about my enjoyment or I’ll mute you.

Since I’ve been reeled back into Star Wars discourse again, I’m gonna say this once more: The Star Wars sequel trilogy is great. All of it. Always has been, always will be. All three: The Force Awakens. The Last Jedi. The Rise of Skywalker. ALL OF THEM are great Star Wars movies.

I know I’m not as hyped for the Mando movie because of other principles (absolutely not over the visuals or other bits), but PLEASE don’t use today to be an asshole to those people who are excited. The past days have been a fucking nightmare for Star Wars and more, don’t make it worse for others.

So I feel less guilty about my Star Wars interests now… I still need that Rey movie (and 15+ other shows to supplement the sequel trilogy). I’m ABSOLUTELY NOT gonna attack the Mando movie, Filoni, or any fans who are excited. I just want my fucking Rey Skywalker movie, for fucks sake.

At least that’s one true bit of good news today. Now I can actually go back to being mentally normal, a little bit.

I hate being fucking weird about Star Wars. I *want* to feel the hype for the Mando movie. But aside from the “WHERE’S REY” part of me, my head is screaming, again, “OH, NOW YOU SUPPORT KIMMEL’S CANCELLATION? YOU SUPPORT TRUMP!? YOU WANT HIM TO KILL US!?” I’m damned to hell regardless what I do.

Additional thoughts post-Mando trailer for Star Wars: Nobody could EVER make me hate Din or Grogu. So I’m happy that we did get the movie’s confirmation. Part of me still isn’t *as* hyped bc that “THIS IS TAKING AWAY THE REY MOVIE” part of me lingers. And I’m still weird mentally from last week.
