The mini apple pies look a lot better out of the tin. I’m glad I used puff pastry. Gives them a very pillowy texture. And I forgot that I added crushed cranberries to give a little tartness.

I decided to grow some heritage and specialty chrysanthemums this year. The first plant has started blooming! This variety is called Whirlaway. The blooms feature petals in varying sizes with tubes that end in “spoons” in a slightly darker color. These blooms still need a few more days to unfurl.

Half way done planting bulbs in the yard. 200 bulbs planted. 200 to go. Oh I bought 800 bulbs? I’ll do those tomorrow, then.
