Our designated fixture for this year takes place tonight, when the Owls players will wear shirts bearing the poppy as a symbol of remembrance and hope. The shirts, each emblazoned with the Legion’s emblematic Poppy badge will be available immediately after kick-off this evening as we host Norwich.

Had some proper emotional days watching #swfc but yesterday was right up there. A high point for me was post warm-up where players and fans applauded each other to the sound of Won’t Get Fooled Again. No I wasn’t crying - you were crying 🥹

Been hard to hear the word Administration @SWFC today but there is pretty much a tornado of exhaled breath as the Chansiri tyranny comes to an end. Fans, players and I suspect many at the club itself see us moving forward into a bright new future.

It’s a praise for Sheffield’s Ecclesall Woods and its fabulous tree canopies. The other day it was 31 degrees, and the shade the trees offered still made it a great place to walk. And today, despite it stair-rodding down with rain, the shelter from the trees still kept me pretty dry. Lovely spot.

Is this the most generic #Eurovision ever?

Understandable and inevitable low key @swfc lap of appreciation this afternoon. A manager who is going, players who will leave or be moved on, and worst of all the knowledge that 25/26 will be a season of turgid struggle to avoid the drop unless there is an urgent change of owner.

Who doesn’t love the World Snooker season in Sheffield? Just on a walk round Endcliffe Park and was passed by Ronnie O’Sullivan being interviewed walking the other way 🙂

Nice antidote to the last few weeks watching #swfc. 1,563 of us there as @hallamfc1860.bsky.social moved up a division after a penalty shoot-out. A few Wednesday legends (and @alanbiggs1.bsky.social) in attendance. As close as I’m going to get to witnessing any glory this term but well done to them.

So the #swfc season since New Year has felt like an inflated balloon with more and more air being slowly let out. Being sat towards the back of the North, once we turned our backs yesterday we couldn’t really see how widespread it was but it felt reasonably strong. Will it get any reaction?
