This all I will say in regards to recent matters: Please be careful with what you say online. It can cost you your job or future opportunities. It can impact your education. It can impact your safety. Not everything you feel or think must be posted online. Offline is also an option.

Generally I think top players need to yap about the game way more so it helps a lot if people are receptive and communicative about it I think. At the end of the day were all here to improve and get better and bridging communication gaps helps everyone get a better understanding.

Ik this opinion may be unpopular but it feels like in Western #compsplatoon NA have a notable advantage since most tourneys are at times favourable to them. If there isn't an EU equivalent to the NA league (which is a good idea imo) it kind of shows IMO that NA do have more tourneys catered to them.

Tbh I'm still furious at the smurfs who killed LSL even when there's more skill-capped tourneys. It was well-run, well attended (often 50+ teams), fair to EU players timing-wise, and a good stepping stone tourney for low level players. And like, what's even the point in smurfing? #compsplatoon

Totally agree with this take. One of the things that comp splatoon is good at is that due to the presence of skillcapped tourneys, the barrier to entry for comp splatoon is much lower and more accessible, unlike other comp esports where the barrier is VERY high (OW, League, CSGO, Valorant) 1/2

I don't understand the vitriol towards skill capped tournaments over the past couple days. I wouldn't have stayed interested in comp if my only option to consistently fight ppl at my skill level in a tournament was low ink once a month. Losing is learning but not fun imo.

To this day, I still don't get why this weapon didn't get fizzy bomb like KGlooga in S2 and why its paint won't ever be buffed. It's such a cool weapon (vGlooga too) to play but I don't wanna run a QR Build, I want its paint to at least be decent (like 96 gal level decent) : ( #compsplatoon

Sorry to ramble a lot today and I get its a measure of the platform but its very easy to just say to do something and its a lot harder to actually understand HOW to do it, and well a hard reality is that 99% of the people closest to that understanding, were already in competition today.

After playing C96 and H3 VIP-R, I really agree with all the backline players who don't enjoy playing pencil due to it being focused around farming cooler. I 5 starred H3D way later than 96 deco but still preferred the new H3 just due to C96's playstyle being way less fun than 96 Deco. #compsplatoon

Yes I know it’s a two way street. I don’t think Alias are a big deal, but pick up team names suck. It’s hard to look at a bracket and see emotes as a team name or Sabrina Carpenter jokes and understand what’s going on. What happened to things like “Henlo Fanclub”? Conveyed all the info you needed.

I can't emphasize enough how important it is for teams to be honest and transparent with each other. If you cant even confront someone on your team an issue youve been having regarding them or the team as a whole, don't play comp, as brutal as that sounds
