Been watching some Nightreign, and I do like how it's "what if Elden Ring was Fortnite", because that implies that other soulslikes (including 2D ones) could be Fortnites, and possibly even that Metroidvanias (which are a very similar genre) could be Fortnites.

Did tasks on today's to-do list strategically, got to 150 points nice and early. Sure, I could keep doing things, but it's Xmas-NewYears-deadzone right now (and a Saturday). I'm not in any position to argue with math.

See, the problem with this is that a full third of all possible lines require the center square, and you can't really check that one off until the ball drops *next* year. Yes, this is the first reflexive thing I thought when I saw this, because game designer brain is a real thing and I have it.
