Reading the replies here makes me wonder how so many people are oblivious to how negative the experience is of being put on multiple slanderous lists. Would they be OK if Palantir, Meta or Cambridge Analytica categorised people like this? If not why is it ok that BSky does?

I made a few implementations of Eliza long before LLMs, and it was intense to read the logs at times. Particularly if it's given even the lightest anthropomorphization, like an avatar or typing indicator. And God forbid you give it a female avatar.

Damn, Upwork has literally monetized disputes in their system. I'm not sure this is the right incentivization for a platform... It does explain why a seemingly simple contract went to a dispute almost instantly, though.

Upwork and Fiverr has 3 for 3 complete failure rate for me at this point. Just got ghosted by someone on Upwork, but at least seems unlikely I will have to pay, which is a step up from Fiverr. Still annoying. How does these platforms survive? Does this work for anyone at all?

Just a heads up to avoid or be careful about starter packs: the reason I was on so many block lists is because I’ve followed a lot of starter packs, which had people on them that made me automatically added to block lists 🤬

Before I got my first VR headset, I was giddy with dreams of boundless creativity. After a few years with the Quest 2, it feels like it's just wrapping mobile games around your head . :(
