Could there be a movement to change that? I find it unlikely, for the reason you mentioned: big tech conditioned us to expect free products. Perhaps introducing paid tiers for advanced features could work. Maybe.

Question is: Does the user base cares about decentralization ?? Or bsky just sound a better X/Twitter option at the time because of Elon Musk? I think this, will have a bigger impact on the final decision.
