I was looking as an upcoming design conference website and it felt so tone-deaf. 10 years ago designers were supposed to be an elite group uniquely capable of solving the world’s problems. But today, so much of that industry seems completely oblivious to the ongoing social changes we’re facing…

One of the few bright spots of the modern technology ecosystem is that YouTube kids videos have somehow become dominated by engineering content (Mark Rober, etc.).

I'd consider myself an AI skeptic, but I find it strange when people bring up the copyright system as an anti-AI argument. Even if AI-created works did lead to the end of copyright, I'm not sure it'd be such a catastrophe. Recipes are not copyrightable, yet there are plenty of restaurants around.
