Tonight's Ghost Frequency stream is dependent on today's storms, which may be severe like last Saturday's that knocked our power out for a while. Outlook isn't too clear yet on how it'll play out tonight, so we'll have to wait and see.

New custom paper mache sculpture! Not my design; it's based on pics of a vintage-y Halloween decoration the client provided. It was a neat challenge; this is the most realistic human face I've ever made, and the painting/coloring style is very different than what I usually do. It's 13" tall.

So my last weigh-in was at my Immunology appointment. 152 lbs. Chances are I'm not going to get beyond the low to mid fifties anytime soon. But it's at least an improvement from bottoming out close to 135. The last covid infection really did a number on me.

I'm tentatively planning on streaming Strange Days from 7pm-9pm Eastern today. It's going to be 100° F with tropical humidity, which will impact me on some level (even with air conditioning) but I won't entirely know how much until later. Hoping it won't be too bad. Since 2020, a lot of people showed their true colours. Their values do not align with their actions. They practice their values in theory but not in praxis. We need to start figuring out who you can trust and organize with. A lot of people like throwing others under the bus very easily.

I just found out the EDS/Hypermobility diagnosis criteria changed back in 2017, the year after I was last checked. Not a single doctor ever checked, mentioned, or reevaluated. I. Meet. The. Fucking. Criteria. Including my lipomas. WTF?!

Sure enough, we're a day before the next heatwave (starts tomorrow) and I woke up feeling like I've been hit by a truck. Body pain's almost debilitating, fatigue's almost severe, gi is a mess, POTS is worse joints audibly poping/grinding, balance off... This has already been a long summer.
