Sorry for being so negative recently. I’m going through it since June. 🫠 Stress is gonna stress.

I have been uninsured for most of my adult life. Even since becoming disabled, I have never qualified for Medicaid because the state seems to think that being able to sit at a computer for only two hours at a time WITH accommodations to complete a degree means I can’t possibly be disabled.

I stg it’s something new with my brother every day. 😤 How tf am I supposed to bring it up to a 35-year-old man that I unintentionally noticed that he consistently uses the toilet without washing his hands and then proceeds to open the fridge, rummage around, cook, etc.??? It’s so disgusting. 🤮

I was thinking about this today, how, when I was a kid I was just odd, trouble, high-functioning, weird, too smart for my own good, spiteful, etc. Having a neurodivergent label or two, so I can benefit from the wisdom and coping tactics others share, is much easier. Labels are tools, not weapons.

Job search is… going. The hardest part is not knowing what my skills are worth, and how much I should be asking for. Then, I also don’t know the titles of positions I would do well in/that I qualify for. I have retail management experience but that doesn’t seem to translate well unless I specify

I submitted some job applications now that I’ll be able to add a degree to my resume and I really hope I hear back from at least one of them—funds are tight, and I’m about to lose school funding. On the bright side, I found one job with a pay range of $60k-70k that I’m like, super qualified for. 🤞🏻

My petition to graduate was accepted!!! 🥳 I’ll officially have a degree in Anthropology come the new year. 🥹
