Carved this as the first layer for a reduction print, but it works pretty well as a print in its own right so I’ve made an edition.

Glasgow chums, my plans to get to The Barras on Thursday to see The Beta Band have been scuppered so I’ve got two tickets at face value if anybody can use them. I’ll see the lads in London next week so all is not lost!

Workshop announcement incoming…

I sacrificed one of my Mountain Shelter prints to the wind gods yesterday at the summit of Ben Nevis where I made the original sketches and took reference shots a few years ago (on a far less windy day). Kind of a low rent KLF moment. There’ll be a short video on the way soon.

Today is the 47th anniversary of this clearly unimprovable photo, from a story so absurd that it shouldn’t be true, but is: the day a team of workers from British Waterways pulled the plug out of the Chesterfield Canal, and all the water emptied out

Date for the diary - the first Paper Ink Print in 2023 was ace, high hopes for the sequel.

Norwaying. Normal service will resume after Easter.

A few of these now available and starting to be claimed (thanks folks). They’ll ship out after Easter once they’re good and dry. Link in my bio.

All done. Seven layers, an edition of 18 prints. Very happy indeed.

Always a nice surprise when one of the later stages of a reduction piece makes for a decent print in its own right. I’ll print a small run of these #linocut #octopus
