Got close to the end of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin’s main story but I’ve had to drop it for now as I just aren’t enjoying it and I’m not spending my time after work on a game I dislike. Fancying a huge collectathon so I’ve pivoted to AC Valhalla 🙂‍↕️

Completion #114 - ROUTINE Fucking horrifying tbh, in the best way. No direction, no UI, no idea what’s going on, just wake up in a room and off to see what horrors await 💀 Did well not overstaying its welcome, and can definitely see the Alien Isolation bits in there.

Completion #113 - Cronos: The New Dawn This game has single handedly got me out of my horror funk, what a game. Combats heavy and meaningful, the games jumpy as hell, atmospheric, stunningly disgusting to look at and the story keeps you locked in. My only issue is give me more concrete lore! 😅

Completion #112 - Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERgrade Holy fucking shit this games good. You can really see the detail they’ve gone into, they really love this game. Also the combat system is stunning and I hope they don’t move away from it 🔥 Not a fan of the ‘streamline’ stuff but is what it is!

Completion #111 - Final Fantasy VII ☄️ Absolutely stunning, the graphics might not have aged amazingly but it honestly doesn’t matter. The story and gameplay are so good, they become part of the charm of the whole package. My favourite of the I-VII I’ve completed, easily, amazing.

My brain has just reached in and plucked out the band Hadouken! from the deepest recesses. Absolute bangers with the cringiest lyrics, peak 2008🙅🏻‍♂️

Completion #110 - Echo Generation: Midnight Edition Another one played from a sequel announcement. Think my only gripe was some parts of the story didn’t matter as much as I’d hoped, but graphically stunning, the turn based combat is hella fun and the dialogue is genuinely funny 👏🏻

Spoilers are one of the worst ways to kill excitement for something - it’s so hard to hide them already in todays social media insistence on posting them, and this shit only makes it harder 🫠

Really hoping Forza Horizon 6 makes me feel like FH4 did, and not how FH5 did 😖

Completion #109 - Raji: An Ancient Epic After seeing the sequel announcement I wanted to give this a go and I wasn’t disappointed. Controls were a tad off at times story, combat, music and visuals were stunning imo. Final boss was a challenge too 💪🏻 Also recommend playing in Hindi!

Completion #107 - Goat Simulator 🐐 I finished up the base game ages ago, so felt it was time to go back. So fun and so frustrating at the same time, buggy as hell but who cares. Also kinda challenging at times, in the same way as Human Fall Flat. Enjoyable overall!

Completion #106 - Final Fantasy XVI 🔥 10/10 game, didn’t deserve any of the hate it got. Loved the characters, loved the story, the cutscenes were absolute cinema and I loved exploring the world. Also the DLC’s were awesome, ESPECIALLY The Rising Tide, what an insane conclusion 😮‍💨
