I have a Nyborg-12 + Nyborg-24 analogue synthesizer on my desk today. Owner reports that no sound is produced, even if the unit seems to power on. I've found this already a few times with old synthesizers. They need AC to work! The one provided by the owner is not correct. #synthrepair

Fixing an Event Opal studio monitor these days. Really intricated, it needs almost 30 minutes to get to the amplifier components! It was blowing fuses, so I removed the transistors and then found "that". Probably a remain from a previous repair attempt. It sounds beautifully now!

I found these three CRT monitors in the flea market. I *had* to save them. Only one of them was working, but I was able to recover them just by reseating the internal connectors. I'll try to convert them to RGB!
