My 12:11 Sunday afternoon vinyl is "General Hospi-tale" by Afternoon Delights. I tripped over this when I was bin hunting in a Peoria record store. I never knew that they made a full album because I always thought it was just a twelve inch hit single during the early eighties.

My 10:44 am vinyl is "Mother's Finest Live" by Mother's Finest from Atlanta, GA. The band is still actively touring. Joyce Kennedy has one of the best rock singing voices next to Ann Wilson from Heart.

My 9:15 am vinyl on a beautiful Sunday morning is "Winner Takes All" by The Isley Brothers which is a two record set that rarely gets mentioned but it's a solid groove. They were such a tight outfit back in the day.

My 7:44 am Sunday morning vinyl as I try to wake up is "The Supremes Sing Holland-Dozier-Holland" by The Supremes. At Motown, Brian Holland along with Lamont Dozier and Eddie Holland were the staff writers that wrote a lot of their chart hits and a lot of hits for other Motown artists.

My 1:12 pm vinyl is the "Midnight Express" soundtrack by Giorgio Moroder. "The Chase" is the popular track from the album.

My 12:08 pm vinyl is "Oops! Wrong Planet" by Utopia which contains "Trapped" and "Love Is The Answer" which are my two favorite songs from them.

My 10:33 am vinyl is "Fear Of The Dawn" by Jack White. I just love the raw sound.

My 9:36 Saturday vinyl is "Chicago IX-Chicago's Greatest Hits" because its just some cool ass music that really knows how to use a fuckin' horn section.

My 3:49 pm vinyl is "Showdown" by The Isley Brothers which has "Groove With You" and "Take Me To The Next Phase". These guys really knew how to dress...and groove.

My 3:09 pm vinyl is the 1973 debut "Bachman-Turner Overdrive" which contains the song "Blue Collar" which is my favorite song from them.

My 1:57 pm vinyl is the 1974 debut album "Todd Rundgren's Utopia" which was back when they entered the music scene as an outlet for Todd Rundgren to indulge his progressive rock side. Utopia later shortened their name during the eighties and became more of a power pop band.

I just finished my last day at Great Dane which was more emotional than I expected. My 12:19 pm lunchtime vinyl is still that three record "Anthology" by Diana Ross And The Supremes because I didn't finish it last night. I actually hope that things get better for all of us in our lives.

My 5:12 pm vinyl is the three record set "Anthology" by Diana Ross And The Supremes which is an interesting overview of their creative legacy. One of the reasons for buying it was because they do a cover of "A Hard Day's Night".

My 4:34 pm vinyl is "This Old Heart Of Mine" by The Isley Brothers which was back when they recorded for Motown. I honestly haven't heard a bad album from them so far. You can tell that Berry Gordy was just trying to figure out how to market the group on this album.

My 3:39 pm vinyl is "Family Reunion" by The O'Jays which contains "Stairway To Heaven" and "I Love Music" which are my two favorite songs from them. Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff really knew how to produce an album and create a great sound for Philadelphia International Records.

My 2:57 pm vinyl is "Live It Up" by The Isley Brothers. I finally get to hear the entire album today for the first time. Besides the excellent title track, this album contains a cover of Todd Rundgren's "Hello, It's Me" that is just as good as the original.

My 3:49 pm vinyl is "33 1/3" by The Power Station which was a supergroup of Robert Palmer, John & Andy Taylor (Duran Duran) and Tony Thompson (Chic) and produced by Bernard Edwards (Bassist of Chic). Its an incredible full throttle rock album with a funky rhythm section.

My 3:10 pm vinyl is the 1971 release "The Need Of Love" by Earth, Wind & Fire. This was their second album that had more of a free form jazz feel to it as opposed to the singles that we're used to. Excellent funky vibe though.

My 3:53 pm after work is "The Best Of Earth, Wind & Fire, Vol. 1" because it contains their cover of The Beatles' "Got To Get You Into My Life" and "September" which aren't on any of their other albums.

My 4:03 pm vinyl after paying out $1100 in car repairs is "Wake Up Everybody" by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes which is an album that I haven't heard in its entirety since it was first released back in 1975.

My 5:02 pm vinyl as we clean, shampoo and vacuum out the ct box and cat tree area is "Pink Floyd At Pompeii MCMLXXII" by Pink Floyd. This pressing marks the first time that the complete film was released as a soundtrack and it holds up beautifully.....even without the booze and drugs to enhance it.

My 3:39 pm vinyl as we shampoo my office carpet is "Crystal Visions...The Very Best Of Stevie Nicks" which is my wife's favorite compilation albums.

My 2:55 pm vinyl as we rearrange my desktop setup is "The Heat Is On" by The Isley Brothers which makes for excellent music to clean house to.

My 1:34 pm vinyl as I dust and shred is the enjoyable "Can't Stop The Music" soundtrack by the Village People which is a decent soundtrack from a stupidly enjoyable film.

My 12:53 pm vinyl as we tear apart and clean out my office/cat room is "I Am" by Earth, Wind & Fire.

My 12:14 pm vinyl is the compilation "It Happened At The Hop-Edison International Doo Hoppers And Sock Hoppers" which an excellent mono collection of teeny bopper songs from 1958 to 1959.

My 11:38 am vinyl is the excellent and often overlooked "Nutbush City Limits" by Ike & Tina Turner in which all but one of the songs were written by I and Tina Turner. The tracks are raw and funky.

My 10:57 am as I completely clean out my office and wipe down the walls vinyl is "That's The Way Of The World" by Earth, Wind & Fire. Their horn section, The Phenix Horns, were a tight band within itself that really knew how to enhance a song.

My 12:54 pm vinyl is "I'm Easy" by Keith Carradine. I knew that he sang in the movie, "Nashville", but I never knew he made an album.

My 9:42 am vinyl is "Stand Up" by Jethro Tull. "Nothing Is Easy" is one of my favorite songs from them.

My 8:47 am vinyl is "All Things In Time" by Lou Rawls who never makes a bad album but the work that he did when he recorded with Philadelphia International is just perfect soul music.

My 8:02 AM Sunday morning vinyl is the smooth tones from The Iceman from "The Best Of Jerry Butler".

Already on it.

My 4:23 pm vinyl is "Warrior" by Scandal Featuring Patty Smyth because I just picked this up and I haven't heard it since 1986. She has such a powerhouse voice.
