My 8:50 AM vinyl is "To The Hilt" by Golden Earring who always knew how to bring it when they made an album. This band was so much more than "Radar Love" and "Twilight Zone".

My 8:23 AM vinyl is "A Year At The Top" by Greg Evigan & Paul Schaffer which was the soundtrack to a television movie that told the story of two musicians that make a Faustian deal for success and the consequences of that. I bought this like seven years ago but this is my first time hearing it.

My 7:17 AM Sunday morning vinyl is "Hot Buttered Soul" by Isaac Hayes with The Bar Kays as his incredible backing band. The covers for "Walk On By" and "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" are perfect soul classics that know how to burn.

My 12:42 vinyl is side 2 of "School's Out" by Alice Cooper because I'm considering one of the songs for "Episode 82" for an upcoming podcast.

My 12:01 pm vinyl is the 1989 album "Nearly Human" by Todd Rundgren which is actually my favorite album by him.The song, "The Want Of A Nail", was used in the excellent 2003 film, "Camp". The album also contains "Can't Stop Running" which was the final song recorded by the classic "Utopia" lineup.

Why do I get the extremely sick feeling that we're just gonna get so used to ICE Nazis shooting and killing innocent people that we're gonna end up shrugging it off. I'm sickened and embarrassed about living in America right now.

My 10:00 am vinyl is "The Thomas Crown Affair" soundtrack by Michel Legrand who creates a cool atmospheric sound that flows with the images of this perfect film. Swing Out Sister were so influenced by the score that they covered "Windmills Of Your Mind" on one of their albums.

My 6:56 am vinyl is "What You Waitin' For" by Stargard which was a very popular soul vocal group during the seventies until they made an appearance in the ill-fated "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" movie.

My 5:47 am vinyl is the criminally overlooked "Delirium" by Santessa which was produced by Stuart Matthewman who is also a collaborator with Sade. The nearly 30 year old debut has the same vibe and is excellent early morning chill out music.

My 4:56 am vinyl is "The Jazz Singer" soundtrack by Neil Diamond. The song, "America", still kicks ass after all these decades.

My 1:15 pm vinyl is the "Pin-Up Girls: Too Hot To Handle" compilation that has actresses from back in the day who also recorded music to boost their image. A really good compilation series.

Our 12:33 pm vinyl is "Black & White" by Pointer Sisters which has the song "Slow Hand" on it. I like their earlier stuff more though.

Our 11:51 am vinyl is "You Know How to Love Me" by Phyllis Hyman who had such an incredible voice and the album totally kills. For the longest time, I always thought the title track was a Lisa Stansfield song because she covered it on an album during the nineties.

My wife's 11:01 am vinyl is the "Best Shots" compilation by Pat Benatar because....its Pat Benatar.

Our 10:21 am vinyl is "Heartbreaker" by Dionne Warwick. I guess she heard and liked the "Guilty" album by Barbara Barbra Streisand so much that she hired Barry Gibb, Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson to write and produce her record. It ended being a chart hit.

The 9:47 am vinyl pick from my wife is "Bumpin'" by Wes Montgomery who has the perfect guitar tone. Totally relaxes my soul.
