It was not the tower we expected. This tower was much taller... And it had heavy steel gates at about 80 &95 feet that I had to push open. One of them managed to hit my head pretty hard on the way down. Luckily, I didn't pass out or fall. But I very well may have a concussion -__-

I've found that making little lists of things I *did* do helps me when I'm dealing with the depths of despair. To-do lists are for happy times. I did this shit lists are for forcing celebration in times of survival.

Zack’s settled in at Casa Crits. They said he had been taking a bottle but all he wanted to do was BITE so I offered him some wet food and he went to town. He then went and used the litterbox like a big boy! Now we’re having some snuggle time watching Jeopardy. He’ll rejoin his brother eventually.

Zack, the kitten who defied Fate, is discharged from the hospital and is heading home. He looks so much like an entirely different kitten, I wasn’t even sure it was him at first. I can’t believe he made it. Thank you, Animal Emergency Hospital of Bel Air, MD for saving his life & caring for him.
