The weirdest thing is Im normally too hype to even play first soldier, I had it sitting at chapter 2 because I got too anxious and excited when I wanted to play it. Binged it last night for no reason, got richly rewarded with an update today.

God, the fact the ff7 fandom is either very small/hard to find or have grown up too much and gotten boring and lost their whimsy and appreciation of some good old fashioned wildcard storyline has never weighed heavier on my heart.

People like its too camp or too "overexplained" or less fun or whatever can miss me, I LOVE it, I ALWAYS felt like the masamune was super interesting in FF7 because cloud has the muramasa/murasame which is usually the "bloodthirsty" sword, its almost backwards and I wanted to UNDERSTAND.

Not to sound like people watching a certain PS3 tech demo or anything, but I'd really love to see First Soldier with full voice acting and mocap and proper pacing ❤️ I would probably sob every time babyroth opened his mouth 🫶✨

I am absolutely adoring the Shinra Archeology cut of FF7, as someone too stupid to learn Japanese it's what I've always craved after the initial localisation. The fact people did this for us for free gives me faith in humanity.

Oh yeah, I figured I should post my Sephiroth belt here. I made this for a cosplay to wear to the FFR concert in London, and then on the day, we got caught in a pop-up protest in our taxi and didn't get time to change! So I'll probably wheel it out for a con in the new year.
