RIP to John Blanche, the best to ever do it. Before Warhammer was even Warhammer he understood what it was: weird, gross, unsettling, maximalist.

Like many folk from my generation, who got into Warhammer, John Blanche was akin to a Rockstar. His art just caught you and lingered in your memory for years. He lit my imagination in a way that no other artist has been able to replicate. He will be missed by many. My thoughts are with his family.
