I understand that some are so wounded that they can't take even the slightest inspiration from anything unless it's an instant, violent off switch for the world's problems. I do have empathy for that. Their feelings are valid, but it doesn't make them correct. Self-expression matters.

Matt's off to No Kings with the sign I spent the morning making. I wanted it to be *extremely* legible from a distance but also clearly hand made and not a "professional" 🙄 job. They need to understand that this is sincere. Only con men need people to "fund" loyalty and action.

You can go to NoKings.org, put in your zip code, and see where people are gathering near you. You do NOT have to RSVP, and I suggest you do not. Just drop by, bring water maybe, stay a while if you want. Look into the eyes of other people who give a damn. It's more powerful than you think.
