This is one of my all time favourite comic series. I have all 20 volumes, all first editions. I'm restarting my PhD on July 1st, and I've been thinking alot about why I study what I do. This series is what got me interested in the process of actually making comics.

Very odd delivery. My Japanese is horrible, but I know that is an image of Shoko Asahara, the leader of Aum Shinrikyo. From what I can tell, this is a manga about the Aum Shinrikyo investigations in the 90s. These are the people who carried out the Sarin gas attacks in Tokyo.

All three volumes of the Jiro Kuwata Bat-Manga are in the collection! Now I need to track down the 70s Spider-Man Manga...

Extremely saddened to hear of Peter David's passing. His Young Justice was a major childhood read for me. His Hulk stuff is phenomenal and I really like his Aquaman and Supergirl. I'd hoped to meet him someday. I hope his family are doing okay.

If you're new to Gunpla, 1) welcome! 2) you can immediately make your kits look ten times better without paint by using panel liner markers: black for dark/blue pieces, grey for white, brown for red and yellow. Excess can be rubbed off by fingers or q tips. Adds tons of depth and definition.

This is Oscar. He showed up on our doorstep 3 Christmases ago. He was covered in cuts and scabs that were clearly done by a person. He was malnourished and weak. Now he's a big softy who likes to stop you from doing work by asking for cuddles.
