This year one resolution I have is to learn C. I mean really learn it. So far I feel that the language is quite beautiful if you take advantage of typedef and macros for small syntax adjustments. But damn it’s so subtle regarding memory safety. It makes me appreciate history and having Rust more!

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025. This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.
