Fun fact: Alex and Ridge were originally designed as Sonic fancharacters. Here's the first ref I made of them for a Sonic OCT I wanted to join back in 2007, but the OCT staff wouldn't let me have a duo as my combatants. Alas! They were always supposed to work as a team.

Another incredibly old piece (2011? 2012?) of my old plague doctor character Chuck. I used to really enjoy plunking characters down into these weird, atmospheric, dreamlike environments, with a lot of emphasis on the tactile feel--cold, heat, moisture, etc. [ #artistsonbsky #oldart ]
