Has anyone else noticed that their phone's keyboards are getting... stupider? My phone actually AVOIDS capitalizing "i" and sometimes I'll need to edit an entire paragraph after the fact because I'll manually type in a difficult word and it'll change it. My going theory is that this is modern AI.

I've been very, very bad at yardwork this year, and decided to be better about it. So I raked the stinky berry-covered leaves, and while bringing the yard waste bin out front, slipped on moss, bruised my ankle, and also hit a blackberry bush (Which has sense been removed) OW.

There are a lot of topics I have more general knowledge than your average person, but very little actual hard scientific knowledge of, and I'm very thankful that we live in an era where an actual expert can show up to "well, actually..." me. Which is kinda neat.

Something I've always been curious about, but never found a good answer for. I was told that when you see frescoes like this, only the dark areas are real. The lighter areas are guesses we filled in. But those guesses are the most INTERESTING parts! Are they just made up???

My ex partner told me they were building me a new and extremely high powered PC since... 2018. They 100% were using my con money to buy PARTS... but never actually MADE me a PC. And we never found most of the parts 😂🤷 The ones we did find were all over the place and couldn't build a new PC.

Sometimes when I'm filling orders, I'll recognize names from my past, and if anyone is in the room, I spend about 5+ minutes talking about how much I love that person. If I'm feeling spicy, (5% of the time) I write a personalized note to the person. Just know even that other 95% I love dearly.

After the avian influenza crisis with my cats, and the deaths, and the being at the front of the line of a novel virus, my brain just CRASHED. Hard. I've finally started feeling somewhat close to normal, and looking back, February to August I was entirely in a fugue state. It's frustrating.

I used to share a ton more cat pics on Twitter. When Musk killed it, I started posting most of them to my cat discord and only saved the "best" for anywhere else. It has dawned on me there is no wrong place for cat spam. I TRY to tag my cat and art posts so people can mute or search as necessary.😅

Yup! Very rare! I think my favorite thing was a person who told me they had a male calico. I got excited and asked for a picture. They show me this normal tuxedo boy and go "His mom was calico, so he's 1/2 calico and still a boy!" I couldn't say *anything*

Its always amusing to me when I see someone post a photo of a calico or tortie, and ask for name suggestions "for their boy" And post an update a bit later "okay, guess they were a girl." Torties are genetically female 99.99% of the time. You typically ONLY get a male if they are XXY or a chimera.

I saw a cat dart to the back right of V's car, so I yelled stop! Before I can explain it was abundant caution, and the cat was safe, an offleash black dog runs exactly where our car would have been. So, we almost ran over our neighbor's dog today. They thanked us, but I was reacting to the cat. 😵‍💫

So if you're like me, and rarely read game reviews, heads up that the new Pokémon game pretty much entirely takes place in a single low poly city with very same-y vibes. No fun regions, and no deep exploration. It's very VERY battle focused, instead. 🤷‍♀️
