The moment you make a theory, ship or headcanon, you gotta accept that it might not be canon, otherwise you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. Going after the author because your ship/theory wasn't endgame is a complete lack of decency. (looking at you, Voltron fans.)

This has happened to me with Slughtly Damned several times, and it’s honestly such a huge a relief. It’s nice to know that the puzzle pieces I scattered around are able to be put into the order I intended. It’s hard to see outside of your own storytelling sometimes!
