The fact that I can't live here is a special kind of torture. (I'm glad humans can't actually live in Yellowstone; really I just wish I could visit every few months and also that I was a coyote.)

I can't take him on hikes yet (I'm feeling normal now, but I'm not cleared for hikes for another two weeks at least 🫠) but we can walk around the yard and that's not nothing, at least.

Went for a walk today and ran into large off-leash dogs TWICE who both tried to jump up on me. I am a week out of fucking surgery, man, I don't care how friendly your dog is I don't want them gut-punching me. Fuck dog owners who walk their dogs off-leash, jesus fucking christ.

Okay but Having *actually* been inflated big and round (my surgery was done via laparoscopy) I Do Not Recommend.

As of I'm gonna *sit still* lmao (The doctor said I should be going for walks!)

Sadie's still on her slow decline, and the three weeks of us being away, and her not being allowed to sleep with me haven't helped (she gets depressed and loses her appetite, and just sorta gives up???). But she seems to be rallying now that her banishment is over, so here's hoping!
