Finished my little home-made linocut print test run! 🍕✨️ The colour is added by hand with copic markers. I'll bring these with me to conventions for $30 each, boarded and sleeved. Only have 5 so far since I was testing out different papers, but I think I'll make more! They're all 8.5x11".

Test printing with a bunch of different papers I think the top right paper in the 2nd photo might be my go-to!

Making a 2 layer woodblock print of Circle the Magpie, the jar opening, talking, trouble making #Edmonton magpie! 🍁

My first attempt at wood block printmaking! 🪵✨️ Currently boarding and sleeving these up for my next in-person markets. There are 14! Found out I really love working with kozo paper (second image, bottom row)

2 layer reduction wood block carving on wood pulp kozo paper. Carved and printed at SNAP gallery in Edmonton ✨️🥒✨️ The magpie is a little local celebrity here in Edmonton named Circle! He opens pickle jars by himself and gets into all sorts of other things he shouldn't.

I think I'm slowly getting the hang of this manual wood block registration technique. Pickle Thief Circle the Magpie will be printed today! Weeee!
