We're always refining, but the SPG Royalty Process shakes out like this; We ask everyone to keep rough track of how many hours they spend on work, and how that time is spent across pieces of work. If someone struggles with this, we ask them to estimate it at the end of the project.

Metaphor Re:Fantazio is a game that utterly fails to examine imperialism, racism, or systems of power. And when placed next to Persona 5, the themes are genuinely incoherent. I don’t understand how the same person made both games. Persona isn’t a socialist masterpiece but it at least said SOMETHING.

I’ve been reading The Afro-Indigenous History of The United States recently, and a key point of that book is that different forms of resistance can and should exist alongside each other. Further, it’s so silly to glorify violence in particular as the only path forward.

People in our space need to start listening to Asian people when they tell you why media and games like Obojima are orientalist. And I don’t just mean white people. Because a lot of my fellow POC are just as guilty about gleefully supporting culturally appropriative media as white people.
