I really can't stop looking at this photo - We usually think of space as being entirely empty and dark, but our sun has a lot of dust around it, giving the moon this eerie backlit glow. And four people really have been there and witnessed this yesterday, absolutely blows my mind! #Artemis 🔭🧪

watching these 4 astronauts make observations of the moon up close is incredible. to think that we live in a time when we can watch live-streams of moon missions. if you want a reason why space exploration should be funded, the millions of people watching these streams are millions of reasons.
