The Big Ragu with the deep sauce recipe has been vital tonight as he's 5-9 outside the arc and rest of team is 6-20.

Finished the Mistborn Trilogy. The next books in the Cosmere series are on hold…I think it’ll take a week of processing the reveals from Hero of Ages for me to even be able to chat with someone about it though?

We are so lucky in the Midway to able to walk to St Columba fun fest (the best Vietnamese food and karaoke watching) and Little Africa fest in a few weeks span. I just managed to eat jerk chicken with red beans and rice, a life juice slushie, sambusas and top it all off with mochi donut balls 🤭

Nothing like going to the gym to check the equipment for the dance teacher and being like “oh that tall guy is Chet”. Our camp is at Minnehaha but didn’t expect a sighting!

When I met Nickeil Alexander-Walker, he was reading a book at his locker in Memphis. That started one of my favorite player-reporter relationships I've had in 15 years as a sportswriter. Always appreciated his honesty and how generous he was w/ his time. I wrote this recently:

Chapter 6 of “Ant” is “Hey, Man, We From Atlanta,” which is all about the 2020 draft. As Ant gets crushed on all the talk shows during his 2nd straight conference finals, helpful to keep in mind people once thought he didn’t care about basketball and thought he couldn’t shoot.

The Steps Anthony Edwards Took to Get Here
Ant is known for his swagger, not his subtlety. But the best aspect of his game might also be the most overlooked.

Needing to save their teams' seasons this weekend down 2-0 in conference finals Anthony Edwards outscored the Thunder in the first quarter by himself Karl-Anthony Towns scored as many fourth quarter points as Indiana, while also having more rebounds, assists, and 3s than Pacers
