Stuck doing late shift diagnostics on the lab equipment again. It's three times the "fun" when it's Cardassian tech retrofit with Starfleet bits and bobs and prototype Bajoran tech right alongside it. I've nicknamed my section of the lab "Turducken".

News used to be better

Movie night in our ensign's quarters. We use a sheet for the projector screen and a modified PADD to play the show. It feels more authentic that way. Morn showed up and brought snacks. He said Batman was one of his favorite Earth superheroes and wanted in.

Working late in the lab so I ordered a pizza. The delivery guy looked very much like Quark with a flimsy mustache on made of what looked like an old bar towel. I'm not one to judge but he asked for a huge tip. I don't carry cash so I gave him a retired student microscope.

The annual Dance Off happened again. We thought for sure Morn would clean up again but Rom came in out of nowhere and wiped out the competition. I had no idea he could wear stilettos let alone dance with them!

We were invaded by a Borg cube, but the weird thing was that they didn't demand we stop resisting. Instead the collective demanded we update our firmware! They spent hours digging into our system, swore at it a lot, and then Engineering felt so vindicated they just let them keep doing it!
