The Klingon ambassador sent me another recipe. I told him I can't legally make the recipe intended for "honorable death by flavor".

We convinced our lieutenant to let us turn part of the lab into a test kitchen so we can have recipe challenges with Engineering. So far it doesn't matter what we cook, inevitably there's hot sauce.

New Year, new me! I'm getting a patch of skin regrown because old lab equipment likes to spice up the relationship! ;3;

Some of the other Ensigns are making up Terran New Year's resolutions for kicks. I can't really make resolutions like "I will not chemically burn off my eyebrow whiskers." because that's not always my choice to make!

I'm not a Khajiit! ono People keep asking me if know any Shouts. If you want shouting, go ask Engineering! They've got some really good ones. They may actually be able to make you time travel when they yell.

I've put up string lights in my bunk. Not that I didn't have enough lighting to read by or anything. The voles really seem to enjoy it. I'm giving them little antlers to wear and tiny sleigh bell vests. If I'm going to have voles, anyway, they're going to look festive!

My feet are plantigrade! If I don't trim my nails, every shoe I put on gets ripped to shreds. My socks don't live very long as a result so instead of a stocking this Christmas, I'm hanging up one of my patched up socks from my academy days. I wanna see if Santa is a Q.

We've been growing sweet potatoes and pumpkin in the botany lab to test traditional recipes. Now the whole station is sending recipes directly to my PADD. The Klingon ambassador sent me one that's so boozy I don't think I'll be able to try it while on duty.

We had a little downtime while our bunks were being fumigated (again) for vole lice, so me and the other lab ensigns convinced our lieutenant to let us deep fry a turkey. I am currently in Sickbay with the doctor as we regrow patches of my fur. WORTH IT! The whole lab smells delicious.

This year I'll be attempting a Terran holiday dinner, but I can't eat it all by myself. I'll most likely be taking it down to the lab to share. We can take bets on who eats the jellied or fresh cranberry sauce. If it gains sentience we've all agreed to teach both sauces football.

Reading up on Terran holidays and people used to send holiday themed cards to each other. Some of these, though... I'm not certain what anthropomorphic vegetables are trying to convey.

I asked Garak if he could help me with my costume this year. He said he would on the condition that I spend two weeks helping him research better stitches that would prevent the Chief from tearing his pants so easily. I considered it a fair exchange since I don't usually carry latinum.

We were growing pumpkins for a carving and pie contest, but they grew to tremendous proportions and took over the station for a day or so. Now we're negotiating peace and finding them a nice uninhabited planet to live on. I still kinda wanted pie, but I'm obliged to diplomacy.

Temporal anomalies must be super common onboard the station. I stepped through one ten years yesterday and wound up doing the daily duties of a version of myself from another timeline. Thankfully, I'm back in my own timeline. ... I think.

It's beginning to feel more and more like spooky season around here. They say the station is haunted! I think the ghosts would have to contend with the roaming souls who get caught in transporter accidents, myself.

Test running a holodeck program to ensure it's safe for the Ambassador of the week's children. They must think I'm more arboreal than the other ensigns because I've been given the task of seeing how easy it is to fall out of trees. This wasn't quite the botanical research I signed up for.

It was routine maintenance night before bed today on the replicator nearest the botanical lab. Today I learned that you can not only get termites in the serving trays but it also accounts for the strange texture of my sandwiches lately.

There's this new holoprogram where you play as Chief O'Brien and you have to avoid objects touching your shoulder. Some are giant darts and some are tiny kayaks! I'm not entirely sure why it's that way but that's when people start laughing and lose points.

Personal Log, stardate 58693.0 Things sure move fast around here! Especially the biology! After spending a couple of days addressing the algae explosion, it clings to my skin and fur.

Tried the candied gagh. I think I still prefer it jellied. The latest gummy gagh was really bland compared to the ones we got as kids. I think this Halloween I'm handing out the tiny jelly jars.
