Hearing lots of helicopters overhead this morning - a very unusual sound here in wartime Kyiv - following massive air raid by fascist Russia on the Ukrainian capital overnight. Likely it's these fire-fighting helicopters, helping to douse the numerous fires around the city caused by the attack.

Eerily quiet in Kyiv now after a thunderous storm of attack drones and ballistic missiles, lasting about 2 hours. Daughter sleeping peacefully in bathtub - if there were a direct hit on our house the metal tub might give her some protection and an increased chance of survival.
