Porting Delia: The Traveling Witch from Gameboy to Godot so I can do a proper Steam build. It took me 2 days just to get Bao walking back and forth. Hoping for a release by Halloween, but it's feeling unlikely.

Okay we're on 4 days straight of 100's of people playing Delia: The Traveling Witch (up from maybe a couple dozen a day). Anyone know what's going on??

Every once and a while I wake up to like 100's of new plays and downloads on Delia: The Traveling Witch but I can never find out why. A streamer? A game dev team for gameboy? A random youtube video? I love it but am always so confused.

I had the title "Senior Technical Artist" at Pixel Sprout Studios. I animated a lot of assets, as well as made the customization system for clothing and races in Sun Haven. I worked for Pixel Sprout for years and left before 1.0 for many reasons. I am not credited.

I really wish I could teach gamers that they THINK they want a huge open world but what they REALLY want is a well designed AREA of a city, culture, and NPCs. Open worlds with 100 empty streets and 100 acres of empty hills to run fetch quests will never compare.
