Mamdani not saying how he'll vote on the housing ballot items is a classic case of Ezra Klein's everything bagel problem. Voting yes would prioritize affordable housing development. Voting no would prioritize community and labor bargaining power. It's a stark choice and he is refusing to lead on it.
