Sam Kieth has passed. There are so many great comics creators I love, but Sam is on my Mount Rushmore. The Maxx was a revelation when I first read it. What a sad loss. What a great creator. I will miss your light in this world intensely.

In the past few days I watched Megadoc by Mike Figgis and Hearts of Darkness. Both fascinating bookends to Francis Coppola's career.

I'm very intrigued by The Bride! Given it's seeming divisive results.

Sal Buscema, beloved comics artist, passes away Sal Buscema, a veteran comics artist and part of the famed Buscema family of Marvel artists, has passed away. He was 89 years old when he died on Friday, and the news broke today, on what would have been his 90th birthday.

My co-teacher's daughter celebrated her birthday at the skating rink. The youngest was pretty excited to put her skates to use outside the living room. She grew confident enough to tell me to leave after while. I'm pretty proud of her this evening.

I just finished the 2nd book of ACOTAR. It took a while to get through a few parts, but the characters, world building, and twists keep it moving. My fiance is on book 4. She's loved this series!
